Syroco Mirrors

22 Sep

You all know I can’t pass up a fabulous mirror, so when I saw this Syroco beauty I just had to have it!

And the best part was…it was FREE!!!

It was sitting all lonesome in our shop for months and was screaming for some TLC.

Now for the fun part! What color should I paint this baby?

Here are some options I was thinking

As gorgeous as this is, I think turquoise might be over kill in the living room. I’m pretty much obsessed with blue though.

However I wouldn’t mind a punchy yellow.

Loving the sexiness of a glossy black.

Love the white very chic.

Which color do you vote? Do you prefer it gold or agree with me on painting it?

I was thinking maybe you could try a toned down turquoise ?? Not so dark. More of an aqua since your dining room chair cushions are that color too. I think it would look amazzzzz

I love these! So gorgeous! I vote for bright and fun colors just because they juxtapose the formality of the piece so nicely.

    paint!
I have a similar mirror and I painted it white 5 or 6 years ago – it sits in our bathroom now and I’ve been itching to give it a new bright coat.
A friend of mine also just inherited 2 chandeliers that are this colour gold and she’s spray painted them hot pink.

I’m amazed, I must say. Rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both equally educative and entertaining,
and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head.
The problem is something too few folks are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy I found this in my hunt for something concerning this.
