Well we said so long to the gallery wall in the living room. It was bitter sweet to see it go because it was something I really loved in the space. But the Ikea frames were sagging quite a bit so they had to go, plus they would have gone once Zoe started getting around.

It’s amazing how much the living room has changed since she’s made her arrival.
(please excuse the massive dog food bag in the kitchen)
I really hope to get this room back up to my standards. Not sure what exactly I plan to do with the now blank wall we have but I’m thinking another gallery wall and possibly hanging the gold Syroco mirror that used to hang in the hallway.
We also plan to say to say bye bye to the yellow ottoman. It’s great in theory but really hasn’t been holding up well with a baby and two dogs. I can’t imagine what it would look like in a couple years!
So I’m back to the idea of an acrylic coffee table, you might remember I wanted one a couple years back but the husband was anti. Funny how now he’s begging me to buy one! Men are hilarious.

Anyway I’ll keep you updated on the changes, in other news Zoe’s nursery is over at lilSugar today, so be sure to check it out!
Happy Friday!
Here are some new lovelies I picked up this week.

I love this $15 rug I found at Home Goods. I’ve been loving navy and white lately.

Also found this chevron rug for the bathroom for $12! The colors go perfectly in here.

We finally got a West Elm near us and they were having a 15% off sale, so Monday I popped in and picked up some things for the guest bath, like this monogram hand towel.

and these diamond towels as well as the shower curtain, on sale of course!

I love to find deals and use coupons any chance I get (my poor husband)
Have you scored any great deals lately?
Will you shop at a specific store just because you have a coupon? I do!
Today Zoe and I took a trip to Home Goods, she is quite the shopper. I’m so glad I finally got the hang of taking her out during the day it was a little daunting at first. Thank god for the Bjorn carrier, she falls asleep instantly while in it.
Oh how I’ve missed Home Goods and today was a great day to go as there were so many amazing goodies.
Loving this black x bench, just wish I had a place for it.
Fun cotton rugs!
Such an awesome console table.
Just saw almost this exact same throw at West Elm.
I love mirrors and could have easily taken both these home. I need a bigger house!
I didn’t leave empty handed though (that would be a crime!) I’ll share with you tomorrow the goodies I brought home.

I’m so excited to share Zoe’s nursery with you, each time I walk into this space it makes me so happy.
Her nursery turned out exactly how I wanted it to. A space that was peaceful for a baby but could also be a space she could grow up in without having to completely redecorate.
And it of course had to have a lot of style so mommy could enjoy it as well!

The “For Like Ever” print is one of my favorites and seriously makes the room.
Don’t you think?

Zoe James hanging out in her crib, I went with the Hudson by Babyletto. Love the lines and mid century vibe.

My little peanut

Both the window and closet drapes I bought at Ikea and embellished with grosgrain ribbon and pom pom trim. I’m obsessed and of course love the fact that they were super inexpensive.

Meet the newest member of our family…
Zoe James
Born September 4th at 2:57pm

She is the cutest little bundle and we are absolutely head over heels in love with her.
I have been busy busy with her so I’ve had to put the blog on the back burner for awhile…but I’ll try and post when this little princess will allow me.
In other news, I just got her nursery photographed so I hope to have that up soon! You are going to love it!!
