Hello there!
Today I want to talk about nightstands, bedside tables, bed stands whatever you prefer to call them.
This is about bringing them back to life; I’m specifically talking about mine.
We actually got these beautiful antique tables from an estate sale and my husband stripped and refinished them. I love them! But was getting a little tired of the dark finish and wanted to glam them up. If I had it my way I would paint them white or a bright yellow but I think my husband would have a heart attack if I did that!
So one easy and inexpensive change I made was switching out the knobs. I recommend this for anyone wanting to give their furniture a new look. Knobs basically do wonders!
I wanted to go cheap on this project so I bought some crystal knobs from Target
Which are almost identical to knobs I’ve bought at antique stores. I love a good knock off!
Anyways the next step was adding some mirror! Mirror? Yes.
I got the idea from Studio Ten 25, she’s a ridiculously amazing designer in Texas. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her style!
So I got two custom mirror pieces from Hyland Studios for under $50! A definite steal compared to how expensive mirrored bedside tables are.
Here they are before (these babies needed some life)
and the reveal!! Ahhhhhh….
I’m in Love!!!!

Wow!!! Beautiful! The tables look so much more pulled together!

Wait, you switched to the pintuck duvet cover ! I have that one and I love how it doesn’t show wrinkles.
Where are your gray dot throw pillows from?? Love them!
Thanks Amanda, the pillows are Jonathan Adler and I got them off craigslist so I’m not sure where you can buy them.
Where is your comforter from, I love it and have been looking for a nice white one forever! I love your room!
Thanks Lindsey, the duvet cover is from West Elm.
Thank you so much!!
